3 ft Pete - Children's book

After being vegan for about 7 months (Italy broke me), I got caught up in the ether of veganism and decided to write a children's book that got kids focused on the consequences of not eating their veg.

3 ft Pete was born, which told a short story about a boy discovering that his desperate need for a growth spurt was down to his diet.

I've written the story and illustrated the character, but now I'm looking for artists and publishing companies to get this made.

If you're interested in the story or you're looking to help get it developed, then let's grab a coffee.

An excerpt from 3 ft Pete...

“Meat! Meat! Meat!” Screams, little 3 ft Pete,

A boy who refuses his vegetables as he yells from his seat.

Mum and Dad do their best to give him his greens,

Even Gran tries to disguise a burger made of beans.

But Pete knows best and thinks it’s all yucky,

He eats all his favourites and believes he’s so lucky.

His plates are piled high with fatty sausage rolls,

And meatballs overflow his tiny Pete-sized bowls.

He eats nothing but junk food from sundown to sunrise,

And in his sleep, Pete dreams of ninja chilli fries.

During trips in the car, he’s only allowed carrots,

But he gives them to Winston, his cheeky pet parrot.
